It's like, I always put analogy. It's like an oil change. If you buy a hundred thousand dollars car, and if you don't go back for the oil change, you're going to have start problems here and there, and you're literally losing value of your car that you dream for. Same thing. We eat every day. I also use a different analogy too. You go to the bathroom, you need to clean it up afterwards. Same thing. You eat, you need to clean. The sticky vile film in your mouth will really attack your bone underneath the gum. First respond with the gum, gums bleeding. People say like, “Why my gum bleeding?” It's not a normal thing. Body says, “Okay, your gum's bleeding because I am sending signal to the gum. Okay, there's something going on. I don't like it,” so they're sending out white blood cells and other natural killer cells, those cells to kill anything foreign from our body.
That's why you're bleeding. That's why you're swollen, and people ignore it a lot of times and then they waiting until they're getting into pain, so we don't want that. So to prevent that kind of cases, we want them to screen every six months, and so important to do the regular checkup so we can maintain. It's not a car. You buy it and throw away. You're going to have one set of your adult teeth, and we want to keep that way hopefully for the rest of your life. That's our goal. Hopefully that's patient's goal too, so that we can have a really great, like, enjoying food and enjoying your lifestyle, enjoying smile, and enjoying the confidence. That's truly our goal to leading the patients, and that's why it is so important, having a regular checkup.
