Dr. Felton Announces Retirement

Dear Patients and Friends,

Thank you for the trust you have placed in me over the past 42 years. It has been an incredible privilege to care for you and your families, and I feel fortunate to have spent my career doing what I love. This summer marks an important transition for me as I begin stepping back from full-time practice to spend more time with my wife of 44 years and our four grandchildren.

Some of you may have heard that I was retiring in June, and while that marks the beginning of my transition, I will continue to be present in the office on a limited basis through the summer to ensure a smooth handoff of care.

Over the coming months, I will gradually reduce my schedule and continue to be in the office on a limited basis to complete ongoing care and support our team. During this time, you will increasingly see Dr. Thompson and our outstanding staff, who are committed to continuing the high-quality care you have always received.

This transition also comes at an exciting time for the practice. Later this year, Felton Dentistry will be rebranding as River Run Dental, reflecting enhancements to our office and a continued commitment to providing modern, patient-focused care. While the name and surroundings will evolve, the people you trust and the level of care you expect will remain unchanged.

As the practice enters this next chapter, I will also be completing my transition into retirement. While I will miss seeing you regularly, I am incredibly confident that you are in excellent hands with Dr. Thompson and the team.
